Boy: n. (boy) A noise with dirt on it.

So we've been pretty busy. Towards the middle of the month, Rick and I went to the wedding of our close friend from college. Sara (duh the one in the middle in the wedding dress) had met Daniel on Match.com and a year later, they're now married. Anyways, it was like a college reunion b/c 3 of the girls were my sorority sisters and the other was in our ed. department classes. In the pic below is Jamie (she's about 8 months preggo...and ate all the cake she could find), Me, Sara - the bride, Kristina and Megan (my roommates senior year when we had an apartment....well actually it was sara, kristina megan and me...so all four of us were there.) We had a great night and danced as much as we could - maybe that was the alcohol playing a part lol. Anyways, it was great to see everyone!

Next pictures...summer fun. What else can i say. With three boys this includes water, dirt, mud, bugs, bees, swimming, popsicles, ice cream cones and lots and lots of baths to get the dirt off. So...here ya go.....

Mud: n. (mud) A wet, sticky, soft earth as on the banks of a river. Can be found in water tables, cups, pants, diapers, hair, ears, mouth...etc but originally came from: that pot of plants that you see in the very right hand corner of the picture. Yeap, you guessed it, while no one was looking, the boys made mud pies out of grandmas potting soil.

Innocent: n. (in' e - sent) A person, especially a child, who is free of evil or sin. See picture below - no further explanation other than mommy picked out this adorable outfit for Peyton to wear and got a kick out of taking 50 zillion pics of him in it. He only looks innocent though.

scar: n. (skar) A mark left on the skin after a surface injury or wound has healed. Just thought I would share this...after 8 months, look how great his scar from his heart surgery looks. You can hardly tell it's there!
Splash: v.intr. (splash) To cause a fluid to scatter in flying masses: splashed about in the swimming pool. Which is exactly what we did. Put a pool and a slide together and hours of fun can be had. It was a great time watching the boys run from the pool to the slide and then back again. This is Landon going down the slide - i love how the camera caught the water.
And last but not least, if you have ever wondered how exactly to get a sprinkler to work, you need not look anymore. Just ask Brenden.

If infact your sprinker doesnt work, just add water...I mean, physically dump the water into the sprinker and wait. If it doesnt work, add more water - it's bound to work - maybe. Try it...let us know LOL. check back for more pics.
