We're finally two!

Wow, can you even believe that Brenden and Landon are two already? Yeap, you guessed it! Friday at 12:59 and 1:00 Brenden and Landon turned the big 2. They've grown so much in the past year...from this:

We have moved on to bigger and better things. Brenden and Landon have learned to walk, learned to talk, and have become somewhat best of friends...unless one took the others crayon or something...then they've learned to bite and smack. On a side note, they've also managed to go a whole year without having any type of treatment done for Retinoblastoma. That said, we've went from April of 2007 to June 2008 without anything but Exams Under Anesthesia. Yea! What a great thing to have happen. I never even knew that having twins would be this much fun. It's definately not a walk in the park but it's worth every minute of it. Give me a ltitle and i'll try and get out new video uploaded.... other than that, have a great day!

Peytons Girlfriend and the Swimming Pool

So, i told you about Peytons girlfriend and how well they get along. Now i have some pics to share from while they were hanging out in the hotel room in Toledo.

Uhm other than that, since it's been sooooo hot here, we finally opened the pool. Well we actually bought a pool (a three ring one) so we opened the box...same thing right? The big pool - it's still sitting in the back yard with the cover on it. Ugh. Anyways, here's some pics of our pool days. Mix these with an oddly apearing fever and crazy cough and we have some great HOT days here at the "zoo".

And here is one of my favorite pictures of Baby P. He was having so much fun watching everyone in the pool and wanted in so bad himself.

Have a great day! We're gonna eat lunch and then nappy time here we come!

The Zoo, a car and some cows...

It's been awhile so i figured i'd let ya'll know what's going on. First and formost, Peyton, our big 6 1/2 month older had his cardiologist appointment this past week. She said that he looked great from what she could see and he sounded great. he wouldnt allow her to do the Echo but what are ya gonna do? It's bottle time and he was hungry - he's a growing boy ya know. she watns to see him in 4 months b/c she wants to keep an eye on things where they did the surgery. the arteries are narrow and she doesnt want them to get narrower b/c it will make it harder for the heart to pump the blood where it needs to go.
Anyways, Other news....lets see, less than a month before brenden and landons birthday! Expect an invite - it'll be out soon!!!! Uhm, Oh!!! We went to the Zoo this past weekend. Actually we ventured to the zoo and if you ask Landon "the zoo is that way" (points up to the sky) b/c we went to the Toledo zoo with our friends Lauren, Cameron and Natalie. Natalie is Peytons arranged girlfriend. At the zoo we had alot of fun looking at the animals. We saw monkeys, bears, snakes, birds, turtles and hippos and elephants. Here's some pics from the zoo.

Brenden and Landon looking at the monkeys.

So, they had a "little People" petting zoo there with all types of animals. There were Alpaca there and gerbils and birds and turtles for the kids to pet. Right away the boys noticed the baby goats. They had the goats in a large cage for all the kids to go in with their parents to PET the goats. Rick took the boys in and let them down to pet the goats and this is what happened (see below picture for the rest of the story)

The boys chased the goats from one end to another. The entire crowd watching the kids in the cage were cracking up at the boys. The one mom beside me said "Omigosh, do you see those twins in there, they look like they're having the time of their lives chasing them from one end to the other..." I laughed and put my head in my hands as they boys were screaming "eeeeee" as they were chasing them. She goes "Are they yours?" and I shook my head yes and she goes "oh bless you, let them run their energy out now...." All in all though we had a great time. They fell asleep on the way back to the hotel. What a fun time we had. Now whenever you ask Brenden what a monkey does he beats his chest and laughs. They had a great time.
Other news....we got a new vehicle. I was tired of putting the kids in and out of the Aztek. I had been looking at vans for awhile and finally settled on one. Much thanks to my parents for all the help in getting us into the van. We got a Chrystler Town and Country. The boys LOVE it b/c it has a dvd player in it and they can watch Backyardigans and go places....two for the price of one! Anyways here's a picture of it!

We also enjoy going down to the farm to see the moo cows. There's some baby cows there that the boys love to feed. They have so much fun. They grab the littlest handful of straw and feed them one strand. It's too cute.

Well that's about all i have time to post right now. Thanks for checking in!

We've been busy...

So....let see...we got hair cuts and we've moved. Alot has been going on and we have been really busy. I 've spend the past few weeks painting the back bedroom at moms house for the boys and then the past week has been spent moving into moms house. The boys and I moved in with mom and dad for a few and Rick found a nice place in Alliance. I havent said much about this to anyone but to make a long story short, we're seperating to work things out. Not neccessarily a permanent thing but a for now thing. We'll see where things take us. Anyways, with all that aside...i have tons of pictures to post but i think this only allows so many at a time. So here's what i can post.

Here's our rock solid "baby P" in his jumper. Not sure if he likes it or not quite yet but his brothers sure think it's fun to bounce him all over the place. ( I think he'll be our Abercrombie model...maybe holister LOL)

Landon Before his hair cut...not the greatest pictures but you get the idea - the curls are gone....

Landon after his haircut with his certificate.

Brenden Before as he was caught running through the kitchen...
Brenden after with his certificate.

Funny thing was we took them to that place at walmart to get their haircut. While Landon was getting his cut, Brenden was standing in teh cart laughing at him. I guess he didnt realize that he was going to get the same thign done. LOL. anyways, all in all, screaming or no screaming, my little men are growing up....isnt' their a rule that they're not aloud to do that? They're at such a fun - crazy age...well, i'll post some more pics tomorrow....it's about my bedtime.

What a month so far....

Wow...well we started the month off with a terrible cold. I had the pleasure of getting it first. Landon got it second, Brenden was soon behind and just when we thought it was over....Peyton has a cough now and a sneeze with a runny nose. Maybe it'll only take a month for these colds to pass with 3 kids and me. UGH. This is pretty much where Landon stayed when he was sick.

So...the boys have found a new place to play (hide). I took all my scrapbook stuff out of the entertainment center corner cabinet and now that's where they play - and eat their animal crackers.

Okay so Peyton is trying to sit up on his own and I though it would be about time to get out the exersaucer and see how he did in it...and the boys thought they would see how THEY did in it. Never a dull moment.

So Peyton waited around...and waited some more for his brothers to play with the exersaucer. He hung out in his swing for a bit...

And finally it was his turn to play in the exersaucer. He loves it, as long as he can see his mommy. If mommy walks out of the room anytime...the world starts to end I guess b/c he flips out.

Anyways, look for some more pictures to come, i fnally got the cute ones off the camera from a long time ago and i'll post them on here. Other than that, it's been an okay month. Lots of stuff to get done before the end of the month (look for an upcoming email if your on the email list for Peyton - most likely you'll all get it). Other than that, I was in a wedding on April 5th. Once i get pictures back, i'll post them. It was for my best friend Amber and i was the Maid of honor (she said I'd be the matron but she didnt want me to feel old.....hahaha - she thinks she's funny). We took some awesome pictures so I'll post them once i get some good ones. What a weekend it was though from rehersal dinner to the reception it was all a blur - I dont remember my wedding being like that - okay so maybe i do... Anyways, that's about all i got for you - Oh! Wait. They boys are becoming alot more vocal. Brenden says "Mom, Dad, Landon (Yandin), Kitty Kitty Kitty (Titty Titty Titty), Tractor (Tac) , Pap (Paw), More (Mor), and Please (Pea) and Baby Peyton (BabyP). Landon says pretty much the same and witht he same pronunciation though he says Brenden "Din Din" , Up and Open "Ope" and he still only does the sign language for more. We're getting there though. So...that's all now.

Cleveland and Easter

So...what a month we have had. On the 17th, Peyton and Brenden and Landon all went to Cleveland for their eye exam. Good news! Nothing was found on any of the boys. They took blood from all three of them. The boys will be used for future reference and also checked so they can compare it to Peytons. If they dotn find the RB Gene in Peyton then we can assume that he doesnt have RB and he's in the clear!!! That would be such great news. Anyways, here's a pic from that.
Well after Cleveland came Easter. The night before, we told the boys that the Easter Bunny was coming in the morning and they looked at us like "who? Who's coming?" So then that morning when we got them out of their cribs, we told them the easter bunny had come and left all kinds of stuff down stairs. Landon was first down the steps to see if this "easter bunny" guy was still there. Brenden opted to wait at the top of the stairs for the all clear. Landon checked and turned around and motioned for Brenden to "come here". So Brenden headed down. When they got down stairs, Landon headed right away for his easter basket which the crazy bunny hid! Brenden wasnt too thrilled that the bunny had hid his so he just wanted to take his brothers. All in all we had a great Easter! Here's some pics from it!

This is Peyton with his "First Easter" Bunny. I think he liked the tag the best.

Brenden Finally Found his basket - The crazy bunny hid it behind his Zebra!
Landon trying out his easter present. A juice box holder - no more squeezing the box and watching the juice come out - Thanks Easter Bunny!
So I'm getting breakfast ready and the boys were all being soooo quiet. (In this house, that means that something is going on and it prolly shouldnt be..) So i asked Rick to check on them. He looked in and said "You may want to come here." I asked "Why, what are they doing" and he said "It involves Peyton and easter grass." Well, peyton was sitting in his bouncy chair and Brenden and Landon had dumped the easter grass out of their baskets and were piling it on Peyton. Everytime they would put some on him, he would giggle. So in goes mommy saying "I'm sorry, we do not cover Baby Peyton in Easter grass!!!" as the boys run away laughing. So Here's Brenden showing off his Easter grass.

All in all, we've had a great month. I hope that everyone else's has been the same. Thanks for checkin in!!!

not much going on

Hello, everyone! I just thought i would let ya'll know we survived all the ICE that we got here isn Louisville. For about a day, our internet, phone and cable was out and then our power went out last night at 9:00 pm. Thankfully, I had dropped the boys off at Grandma and Pap T's house for a big ol slumber party and I was the only one left here to freeze in the dark until Rick got home at 1:00am from work. Nice too that by the time he got home from work and found his way in the pitch black up to the bedroom, the power came on. So at two in the morning we had to walk all around the house turning the lights off. Uhm....other than that not much else going on. Peytons growing by leaps and bounds and i'm sure he's wishing that he could play with the boys.
